(보스턴 2017년 9월 5일 PRNewswire=연합뉴스) 독립계 라이센싱 기구인 HEVC어드밴스(HEVC Advance)는 한국전자통신연구원("ETRI")이 HEVC 어드밴스HEVC/H.265 라이센싱 프로그램의 라이센서가 되었다고 오늘 발표했다. 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)은 라이센서로서 HEVC/H.265 원천 특허를 투명하고 효율적으로 제공하는 라이센싱 프로그램인 HEVC어드밴스 특허풀을 통해 자신의 원천 특허 기술을 활용할 수 있도록 할 예정이다.

As a Licensor, ETRI will make its essential patents available through the HEVC Advance patent pool, which provides a transparent and efficient licensing program for HEVC/H.265 essential patents.
