(BEIJING, Sept. 29, 2016 PRNewswire=연합뉴스) L.O.R.D., an acronym for "Legend of the Ravaging Dynasties", directed by Guo Jingming, will be released on September 30. It'sbooked over 35% of the available screenings in China for the week, making it the No.1 film during the National Holiday vacation. Le Vision Pictures,the film production arm of LeEco, one of the largest online video companies in China, and Lions Gate Entertainment, Inc.(Lionsgate) have reached a strategic partnership to push forward the film's global distribution. Besides its opening in the Chinese mainland on September 30, L.O.R.D. is also set for release in more than 100 theatres in six other countries and territories around the world on the same day.
L.O.R.D. is the first Chinese live action CGI fantasy film directed by Guo Jingming, an upcoming 31-year-old filmmaker. After their cooperation at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) this year, Le Vision Pictures and Lionsgate have joined hands again, this time to bring a young Chinese director's work to new-generation audiences worldwide. The Hollywood Reporter said the partnership between Le Vision Pictures and Lionsgate will support young Chinese producers like Guo Jingming to move into the global market;it helps young Chinese filmmakers to step onto the global stage via promoting theglobalizationof Chinese IP (intellectual property).
Le Vision Pictures' partnership with Lionsgate to bring L.O.R.D. to the global marketwill add original Chinese elements to the culture of the new generation of audiences worldwide.

Helping young Chinese filmmakers step onto the global stage
Le Vision Pictures and Lionsgate will jointly release L.O.R.D.to the global market at the same time. It is set for release in more than 100 cinemas in the United States, Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia and New Zealand on September 30.
In recent years, a new force has arisenin the Chinese film industry. Following the fifth- and sixth-generation of filmmakers, a group of new producers has grown into a dominant force in the domestic film market. TheTiny Times series, produced by Guo Jingming, once topped the box office for Chinese film series.
Strategic partnerships with global distributers of Hollywood movies and the global release of young Chinese directors' works will assist in the growth of new Chinese filmmakers and quicken their appearance on the global stage.
Chinese elements join the culture of the new Z-Generation worldwide

This year, Le Vision Pictures signed a strategic partnership with Lionsgate.
