(두바이, 아랍에미리트 2016년 10월 11일 PRNewswire=연합뉴스) 아랍에미리트 부통령 겸 총리이자 두바이 국왕인 Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum이 오늘 Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour의 기공식을 선포했다. 2020년 완공 예정인 Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour는 세계에서 가장 높은 타워가 될 전망이다.

기공식에는 Dubai Holding 회장 Mohammad Al Gergawi, Emaar Properties 회장 Mohamed Alabbar 및 기타 고위 관리가 참석했다.
두바이를 비롯해 그 주변 지역을 환상적인 360도 조망으로 보여주는 Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour는 건축, 공학 및 건설 혁신으로 쌓아온 아랍에미리트의 명성을 강화하고, 부르즈 할리파 대신 세계 최고층 건물이 될 전망이다.
환상적인 스카이라인과 새로운 국제 참조점을 재정의하는 이 타워는 두바이 크릭 하버 내에서 6㎢의 면적을 차지한다. 두바이 크릭 하버는 세계 최대의 계획 개발지구 중 하나이자, 최신 인공지능 발전으로 정의되는 차세대 스마트 허브다.
Emaar과 Dubai Holding의 합작투자로 탄생한 두바이 크릭 하버는 유네스코 람사 협약하에 보호받는 Ras Al Khor 국립 야생동물보호구역 및 두바이 국제공항과 가깝다. Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour는 스페인/스위스 건축가 Santiago Calatrava Valls가 설계했다.

DUBAI, UAE, October 11, 2016/PRNewswire/ -- HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, today marked the groundbreaking of The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour, which will be the world's tallest tower when completed in 2020.

The groundbreaking was held in the presence of HE Mohammad Al Gergawi, Chairman of Dubai Holding, Mohamed Alabbar, Chairman of Emaar Properties, and other dignitaries.
Providing stunning 360 degree views of the city and beyond, the Tower strengthens the UAE's reputation for innovation in architecture, engineering and construction, and will eclipse Burj Khalifa as the tallest building.
Re-defining the spectacular skyline and setting a new global referral point, The Tower anchors the 6 sq km Dubai Creek Harbour, one of the world's largest master-planned developments and a next-generation smart hub defined by the latest developments in artificial intelligence.
A JV between Emaar and Dubai Holding, Dubai Creek Harbour is in close proximity to the Ras Al Khor National Wildlife Sanctuary, protected under the UNESCO Ramsar Convention, and the Dubai International Airport. The Tower is designed by Spanish/Swiss architect Santiago Calatrava Valls.
