NX Korea has continuously engaged in tree-planting activities since 2015 as part of forestation projects at Noeul Park and Haneul Park. This latest effort, the ninth such endeavor, saw 54 participants planting approximately 120 large saplings on the slopes of Noeul Park. Those taking part in the event were educated on the transformation of the former Nanjido landfill site into the current Noeul Park and the importance of the natural environment, having a chance to deepen their understanding of the significance of creating forest ecosystems.
NX Korea President Masami Akiyama remarked, "I find taking part directly in activities such as planting trees that improve the environment very meaningful. I will continue pursuing ESG management together with our employees and carrying out a variety of activities aimed at restoring ecological environments and coexisting with local communities."
The NX Group remains committed to fulfilling its social development responsibilities by connecting people, companies and communities, and actively engaging in global environmental conservation activities to achieve sustainable societies.
